Dex is at that age where no matter how much he eats, he remains a bone rack. I remember when Briggs was this age ... I still fed kibble back then, and I used to just leave the bag open for him to nibble out of whenever he wanted. But only time will pack some mass on this puppy!

8 months old today!

Today Dexter "helped" me

build my raised beds for the new veggie garden.


He's looking forward to all the tasty things he can steal out of the garden this summer.

In a couple of days Dexter will be 8 months old. He is now almost 40lbs, all legs and ribs and ears. He is just a little bit shorter than Tweed, who is my largest dog. He is much taller than Piper and The WooTWoo.

Dexter was still kind of a jerk to Sagan for no good reason, but once they were all off leash and started playing, they got on quite well.
